Dear saints,

For the past few years, the church has arranged a way for saints to come together and enjoy a
BBQ dinner several times in January. The purpose of these BBQs is to promote the blending of
the saints across the three language districts, as well as provide an opportunity for saints to
invite gospel contacts.

We feel it would be very beneficial for the saints and the church to continue these BBQs in
January 2022. However, the Covid-19 Protection Framework does provide us with some
challenges and this letter outlines how we will conduct these BBQs under this government
imposed framework.

In order to care for saints who hold a ‘My Vaccine Pass’ and for saints who do not hold a ‘My
Vaccine Pass’, the church will conduct two separate BBQs, in two different locations on 16, 23
and 30 January.

Although it is not desirable to have two separate BBQs happening at the same time, we stress
that this decision is a result of both the vaccine pass requirements and gathering number
restrictions under the Covid-19 Protection Framework.

The details of the BBQs will be as follows:

16 January 2022
Church Complex – ‘Open’ BBQ (no ‘My Vaccine Pass’ required). Restricted to 50 people* (includes children and babies)
NZ Training Centre – ‘My Vaccine Pass’ required. No gathering restrictions or limitations.

23 January 2022
Church Complex – ‘Open’ BBQ (no ‘My Vaccine Pass’ required). Restricted to 50 people* (includes children and babies)
NZ Training Centre – ‘My Vaccine Pass’ required. No gathering restrictions or limitations.

30 January 2022
Church Complex – ‘Open’ BBQ (no ‘My Vaccine Pass’ required). Restricted to 50 people* (includes children and babies)
NZ Training Centre – ‘My Vaccine Pass’ required. No gathering restrictions or limitations.

Registration will be required to attend any of the BBQs. Please click on the link at the bottom of the page.
Registration will be due at 12pm on the Thursday prior to each BBQ.

Registering for the BBQs at the church complex
So that we maintain our legal obligations by not exceeding the 50-person gathering limit, and
to avoid embarrassment by being turned away on the day, you should not attend the BBQs at
the church complex without first registering. The registration form will stop receiving
registrations for the BBQs at the church complex once the 50-person limit has been reached. A
waitlist option will be enabled once a date has reached its 50-person limit.

Registering for the BBQs at the Training Centre
To help us with our planning, we also require registration for the BBQs at the Training Centre.
As the BBQs at the Training Centre do not have a gathering limit, there will be no caps or
waitlists with the registrations.

We hope this arrangement will provide a way for all saints to be cared for and continue to foster
an atmosphere of blending among the three language districts.

May the Lord continue to bless the Church in Hamilton with many blending opportunities for
the building up of the Body of Christ.
